Requirements for Affiliation

Ministrymaker Ministerial Fellowship helps people from all walks of life and backgrounds become better preachers, teachers, and ministry leaders. Below are the general requirements for affiliation and membership with our fellowship.

  1. Doctrinal unity. Be in agreement with Ministrymaker’s Statement of Faith. Maintain doctrinal purity as to the fundamentals of the Christian faith; The deity of Jesus Christ, the Trinity, salvation by faith alone (Romans 4:4-5), salvation is found in Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12), etc.
  2. Fellowship. The desire of Ministrymaker Ministerial Fellowship is to provide a means of fellowship with those of like minded faith. This fellowship is for mutual and voluntary accountability, encouragement, and support. Our goal is to strengthen and challenge one another to love and good works for the building up of the kingdom of God (Acts 2:41-42; Hebrews 10:24-25 and 1 Thessalonians 5:11).
  3. Live Godly. Strive to live a godly life (1 Peter 1:15-16; Hebrews 12:14) and to let the light of Jesus shine through us (Matthew 5:13-16). Realizing none of us are perfect, we all have flaws, and fall short of the glory of God (Romans 3:23), our goal is to follow Him with all our heart. “As you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him” (Colossians 2:6). “He who saith he abides in Him ought himself also so to walk, even as He walked” (1 John 2:6).
  4. Restore the fallen. Be committed to restoring fallen brothers and sisters in Christ. “Brethren, if a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted” (Galatians 6:1). Peter had just denied the Lord, and the angel told Mary, “Go, tell His disciples, and Peter, that He is going before you into Galilee” (Mark 16:7). It was just 50 days after his denial that Peter was used to preach the first gospel message where 3,000 people were saved and the eleven stood with him in full support (Acts 2:14).

We don’t want to be known as those who kick our brothers and sisters when they are down, but those who pick up the fallen and put them back on the path of service to God. The gifts and callings of God are irrevocable (Romans 11:29). God doesn’t change His mind concerning His call on our lives just because we experience failure or setbacks. He didn’t call us because of any innate goodness in ourselves, but His own choosing, therefore, our lack of goodness doesn’t change His choice of us (John 15:16).

  5. Support. Commit to pray for Ministrymaker Ministries at large and its overseers Dr. Gary and Kim Linton. Be committed to supporting our fellowship according to one’s ability. This has to do with commitment to Ministrymaker Ministries as your spiritual covering.

Some may choose to tithe to Ministrymaker as their spiritual covering and the place they are fed spiritually (Malachi 3:10-11), others may choose to send a periodic love gift (Philippians 4:17-19; Romans 15:27-28; 1 Corinthians 9:7-11; 1 Timothy 5:17-18). Support is not mandated but encouraged and is left up to each member’s discretion in accordance to their ability. No gift is too small.
